Diamond Hall Junior Academy is not just a school, it’s a family. Ask any one of our 300 children and they will tell you that they care for one another and support and encourage each other to do their best.

Our lively 7-11 year olds come from many different backgrounds and cultures and we are extremely proud of our diversity. In Diamond Hall Junior Academy, you’ll find a unique school where children’s individual talents and abilities are nurtured so that every child is truly given their chance to shine.

I am delighted to be the headteacher here and come to work each day proud in the knowledge that we are providing the very best opportunities for the children in our community.

Our wonderfully talented children are the great strength of our school and deserve the very best we can give. I am continually impressed by not just their consistent academic success, but by the hundreds of individual achievements in the arts, science, sports, charity work, clubs and trips as well as individual acts of kindness and courage.

It is a great privilege to serve our community and together we can work tirelessly to ensure high aspirations for all.

This year sees us joining the successful North East Learning Trust meaning we can share expertise with other schools in the pursuit of excellence for every child every day.
